Conceptualize, design and develop beautiful and functional websites

Code responsive design concepts in HTML and CSS that are cross-browser compatible and standards compliant

Work with new clients to ensure visions come to fruition

Synthesize and distill project information 

Collaborate with writers, strategists, creative directors and other designers

Serve as project manager for multiple web projects

Provide ongoing web maintenance for existing clients

Document work for use in Ashton’s portfolio

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

3+ years industry experience

Experience planning and developing websites across multiple platforms and organizations

Strong conceptual skills and ability to convey ideas clearly

Proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design

Knowledge and passion for typography and a strong sense of layout

Solid understanding of information architecture and hierarchy

Proficiency with web accessibility standards

Ability to produce results independently as well as collaboratively

Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines 

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Strong organizational and time management aptitude

Strong presentation abilities

Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, APIs, cross-browser compatibility, security principles and UI design

Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD (and/or Figma, Sketch), InDesign, Acrobat 

After Effects; VFX, Motion Graphics and logo Animation a plus

Knowledge and experience with WordPress and similar Content Management Systems

Knowledge of server side functions and tasks

Knowledge of Craft CMS, Github, Bootstrap are a plus

Google Suite: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
