Ashton Design seeks an organized and adaptable project manager with strong people skills to facilitate the efficient and timely execution of design projects for our team. The PM monitors progress on branding, signage, print and web projects to keep designers’ workflows smooth and balanced while communicating with internal studio teams, client teams, outside contractors, and third-party stakeholders to get the project delivered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate the scope of projects and works with stakeholders to set expectations
Create and manage project schedules to include presentations, client feedback, rounds of revisions and deliverable deadlines
Coordinate with vendors on printing, fabrication and development needs
Track resources and timelines to maintain balance of workloads and remain within budget
Flexibly and appropriately respond to changes in scope, timelines or resources
Motivate the team to produce great work efficiently
Uphold the studio’s high standards of design
Hold periodic stand-ups with designers
Provide regular project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Conduct project post-mortems
Gather and analyze data to assess and report on project success and employee performance
Make recommendations for process improvements and employee development

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years project management experience (in a graphic design studio preferred)
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

SKILLS

Google Suite: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
iWork: Keynote, Numbers, Pages 
Working Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. 
Project Manamement Tools: Basecamp, Asana, Trello, Slack, etc. a plus
