Canton Crossing is a 326,000 sq. ft. shopping center in downtown Baltimore. The identity takes typographic inspiration from the stencilled letters on shipping containers seen in the nearby Port of Baltimore. Paying tribute to the industrial and maritime history of the area, the main identification and tenant pylon signage utilize raw Cor-Ten steel as the main material which will develop a patina and become a rich rust color as it weathers.
