Former Orioles catcher and legendary Baltimore sports figure, Rick Dempsey, was honored with the creation of Dempsey’s Brew Pub & Restaurant inside the ballpark’s historic B&O warehouse. Working directly with Dempsey on the identity featuring his signature, we also designed custom light sconces inspired by his catcher’s mask, and a hand painted mural of the poem he wrote in 1991 commemorating the Orioles’ former home, Memorial Stadium. The restaurant’s identity and interior reflects every inch of Dempsey’s passion and dedication to baseball as a player, manager, coach and commentator.
