Shaping an icon of sports history
Opened in 1962, Dodger Stadium is the third oldest, continuously used park in the MLB with its own distinctive West Coast aesthetic. Working with famed urban planner Janet Marie Smith, we helped to improve visitor circulation by designing everything from wayfinding signage, murals, and sponsorship ads to team history displays, family-friendly fan areas, and concessions. We revisited historic typefaces, the stadium’s original color palette, and revitalized and incorporated the classic hexagonal chevron shape so iconic to Dodger Stadium. Now the 2nd most Instagrammed location on Earth, Dodger Stadium boasts a fan experience that fits its dramatic location overlooking downtown LA.
