One of the major initiatives during the Dodger Stadium renovation was to make the stadium more family-friendly and have more activities specifically targeted towards younger fans. Created in partnership with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the Play Zone offers kids a place to play before and during games. Dotted around the stadium are life-size player bobbleheads, based on the original hand-painted papier-mâché collectibles from the early 1960s, that enhance the kid-friendly atmosphere.
