Fenway Park

Boston Red Sox, 2002–2012

Once a “hopelessly outdated” facility on a tiny footprint, Fenway Park went through a $285 million renovation and modernization to make the century-old ballpark more accommodating to the modern fan experience. For over 10 years, we partnered with The Boston Red Sox to develop a cohesive and comprehensive look and feel for the renovation from Fenway Park. Everything from directional signage to the design of sponsorship signage and concessions was informed by an in-depth analysis of the visual history of the park that informed the graphic language. The results are graphics and signage that activate formerly unused spaces, and feel authentic and at home in the historic ballpark.

The greatest compliment we get about the changes at Fenway is that it feels like nothing has changed.”
