H-D Factory Tour Center
Harley-Davidson Factory
Tour Center, Kansas City
Harley-Davidson Motor Company, 2014
Used as a staging area for visitors waiting to participate in the facility’s guided factory tours, the exhibit provides visitors a brief glimpse into how raw materials are transformed into an iconic Harley-Davidson. The center of the exhibit features steps in the assembly process on large graphic panels paired with motorcycles displayed on automatic guided carts that are used on the factory floor. Fuel tanks, frames and fenders in varied stages of completion line the perimeter of the exhibit in an eye-catching suspended display with corresponding reader rails.
