Mill No. 1
Mill No. 1
Terra Nova Ventures, LLC, 2013 - Present
Mill No. 1 is an adaptive reuse of 19th-century cotton mill buildings located along the Jones Falls in Baltimore. Taking inspiration from the abundant character of the buildings, we created the identity and site signage that complement the historical and industrial features of the site. The iconic illuminated rooftop sign overlooking the Jones Falls Expressway and hand-painted identity on the main chimney stack are both updates of original mill signage and lend to the seamless integration of new elements with the old.
