Old Ellicott City is a beautiful, historic main street and a thriving downtown with an ever-expanding mix of exciting shops and restaurants, fueled by a quirky, independent spirit. Ashton created the new identity and logo for Old Ellicott City as well as the Ellicott City Partnership (ECP) logo with similar characteristics to work in conjunction to create a cohesive family. We developed the Individually Crafted tagline to play off of the many boutique shops and artisans throughout the downtown.
Since the rollout of our new identity, OEC has experienced a devastating flood that took lives and wiped out an unprecedented amount of shops and infrastructure. The town is still recovering from the destruction but has come together, with the help and support of many dedicated people, to begin the rebuilding process.
