Graphics made possible by viewers like you

Based in Arlington, Virginia, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is the preeminent provider of public programming in the United States, with over 150 member stations across all 50 states and territories.
Working with OTJ Architects, we created architecturally led graphics that highlight the breadth of their reach in the headquarter’s lobby.

As community is central to PBS’s success, we created multiple showcase areas to honor PBS member stations, foundation donors, and the foundation board. All fabrication materials were matched to complement the space’s architectural finishes, and entire wall layouts can be rearranged as participation expands and changes in the future.

The U.S. map, rendered in lacquered wood with a customized CNC grid pattern, allows more than 150 member stations to be accurately plotted across the 10-foot wide map.

A custom rail-and-panel system complements the map and allows member stations to be easily added or updated.
