The Bryn Mawr School
Bold wayfinding celebrates a strong sense of purpose
Nestled on a serene, 26-acre wooded campus at Baltimore’s northern edge, The Bryn Mawr School ranks among the nation’s oldest all-girls college-preparatory institutions. The school is guided by the ethos that “girls armed with knowledge, self-confidence, and the joy of discovery have no limits on what they can become.”
Our wayfinding program captured this spirit by weaving the school’s identity into a bold, vibrant branded experience celebrated across the campus.
At the newly redesigned Northern Parkway entrance, a masonry wall topped with gold-leaf lettering welcomes visitors and proudly signals the school’s presence to passing motorists.
Thoughtfully positioned signs harmonize with the lush landscaping, providing clear, concise wayfinding for all campus visitors.
“It turned out great! It was an awesome team effort between Ashton and the architect all the way through construction. Ashton really stepped up in terms of helping out and providing good support. We appreciate that. It’s been good working with you guys, and that makes everything easier.”

The entry monument features a terra-cotta school seal and dedicated space for temporary graphics. These interchangeable sign panels offer an elegant and efficient channel for announcing upcoming events and engaging the broader community.
