Whitehall Mill
Whitehall Mill
Terra Nova Ventures, 2016
Dating back to 1798, Whitehall Mill is an adaptive reuse historic building in the Jones Falls Mill District of Baltimore. Originally a cotton duck factory, the current building is the second iteration, rebuilt after being destroyed in a fire. Terra Nova Ventures wanted a cohesive identity for the complex to encompass its offices, residences, market, and event spaces.

Inspired by the historic fire insurance maps of the property, we created a logo with custom typography and illustrations for both the Whitehall Mill and Market.

Evoking the essence of the turn-of-the-18th-century era, these illustrations featured an etched graphic style, which also helped distinguish the marketplace from the other adjacent spaces.

We extended the identity suite to feature campus and building signage, marketing and leasing collateral, and a website.
